3-days to Angkor Complex, Tonle Sap Lake, Koh Ker and Beng Mealea

This three day itinerary from, Angkor complex, Prek Toal(Tonle Sap flooded plain), Koh Ker and Mealea-northern plain. AM is one of the best bird watching experiences in Cambodia. Go with Cambodia Bird Field Guide (CBFG) is the best will lead you to see the endangered species and including many numbers of bird species in Cambodia. In the morning our expert guide will go to pick you up at your hotel and heading you a full day to Angkor Complex. You will enjoy with our bird guide and including temple guide. In morning we are expect to Forest Wagtail, White-throated Rock-thrush, Asian Barned Owlet, Spotted Owlet, Oriental Hornbill, Black-nape Oriole, Hainan Blue Flycatcher, Asian Brown Flycatcher, Black-capped Kingfisher, Shikra,...etc. Afternoon you will get knowledge of temple history from our temple guide and including birding until dark.
The second day, we will spend a full day tour again with our guide to see floating village and the largest waterbird sanctuary. You will see huge number of water birds at Prek Toal. The number of species at Peak Toal nearly a hundred species of water bird at Waterbird Sanctury, are such as 3 species of Cormorant, Oriental Darter, Spot-billed Pelican, Painted Stork, Milky Stork, Greater Adjutant, Lesser Adjutant, Black-headed Ibis, 4 species of egrets...etc. At afternoon we will from Waterbird colonies to village for eat lunch and after lunch you get new experience by ride paddle boat in floating village to see fish farm, crocodile farm...etc.
The third day to Koh Ker and Beang Melea temple northern plain of Siem Reap province. we will leave at 5am heading to northern plain for bird watching and including temple tour, it is about 115kilometres and it take about 90 minute from Siem Reap province. The habitat is dry dipterocarp forest with some semi-evergreen forest which is to see Black-headed Woodpecker, Common Flameback, Greater Flameback Grey-capped Pygmy-woodpecker, White-rumped Falcon, Collered Falconet, Black-hooded Oriole, Black-headed Bulbul, Golden-fronted Leafbird, Shikra, Crested Serpent-eagle, Rufous-wing Buzzard Red-brested Paraket and other species nearly seventy species at Koh ker site. We will leave Koh Ker Complex around at 3pm and head back to Siem Reap. En route, you can have a chance to visit Beng Mealea temple and reach Siem Reap by 5 or 6pm.
