Depending on your fitness and enthusiasm our cycling tours can include a half day of cycling around Siem Reap, or a full day of exploring by bicycle the Koh Ker Temple Complex, which is located on the Northern Cambodian Plain about 120 km from Siem Reap. The distance involved requires that the longer tour begins at 5:00 A.M. and finishes around 4:00 P.M. For this longer tour we will take you by air-conditioned car to the Koh Ker Temple Complex area and then guide you by bicycle to the sightseeing areas. At Koh Ker we will be birding at the Pram Temple, the Neang Kmao Temple, the Chen Temple, and of course, the Koh Ker Temple. In these protected areas the bird species it is possible to see include the Great Slaty Woodpecker, Parakeet, Starling, the Crested Serpent Eagle and others. Included in this tour is a locally prepared traditional Khmer lunch with your choice of fresh vegetables, meat and fish.
Our temple guide and driver will go and pick you up at the hotel at 6:00 am then taking to the Siem Reap temple. Driving about 4 hours north and northeast passing a few towns before getting to the check point. We will stop about 10minutes at the check-point to get your temple pass.
