A full day trip to see the large Waterbird sanctuary in Southeast Asia such as: Milky Stork, Painted Stork, Spot billed Pelican, Black headed Ibis, Lesser Adjutant, Greater Adjutant, and Oriental Darter, Grey-headed Fish Eagles, Great Egret, Intermediate Egret, Little Egret, Black-crowned Night-heron, Chinese Pond-heron, Grey Heron, Purple Heron, Little Heron, Black Bittern,Whiskered Tern, Kingfisher, and Warbler,..etc. And over 150 species have been recorded in the reserve since 1997.
In Tonle Sap lake there are 170 floating village but Prek Toal is the largest floating village with 1200 families are living now. Prek Toal is inundated freshwater swamp forest with a high botanical diversity. The people who are living this area move their house two time a year accounding to water. you will enjoy with fish farm, crocodile farm, checken farm, garden farm,..etc. After lunch we organise an optional paddle boat tour of the floating village which if not seen before is a unique experience.
Prek Toal can be visited as a day trip from Siem Reap and The village is take about 45 minute from Siem Reap to Boat Park and about 90 minute or two hours by boat ride from Boat Park. On the way to Prek Toal you will see small floating village and including some species such Egret, Night-heron, Chinese Pond-heron, Grey Heron, Purple Heron, Whiskered Tern, Kingfisher, and Warbler,..etc.
Our guide and driver will go and pick you up at the hotel lobby at 5:30am then leading to the Prek Toal. Our tour will finish at 4:30pm then our guide and driver will bring you back to the hotel or where you want to be dropped off.
