During this one-half to one-day birding/temple trip you will have the opportunity to see nearly 200 species. Situated in Cambodian Dipterocarp (semi-evergreen) forest, also called the Dry Forest, this area also contains rice-field grasslands. Both provide excellent habitat for many varieties of birds and other wildlife. The birds in this area include: various woodpeckers, Bazzards, Serpent-Eagles, Pygmy-Falcons, Falconets, 3 species of Prinia, Sunbirds, Minevets, Bulbuls, Bee-Eaters, Mekong Wagtails, Cambodian Tailorbirds, Pied Hornbills, Pittas, various owls and owlets, Nightjas, Raptores, Babets, Storks, Ibis, and many more.
